Pintail Kafe sits comfortably amidst all the shops along the busy part of Penang Road. Established in 1998 , was first located at Upper Penang Road, but six months ago it has been relocated to the present address at No. 84 Jalan Penang, 10000 Penang. (Just across the road right in front of Hotel Oriental, same row with Odeon Cinema).

The interior boasts solid wooden antique chairs and tables tastefully matched with modern pieces. Beautiful paintings adorn the walls while antiques & collectable ornaments add a touch of class and coziness. Don't forget to look down on the floor as you enter the cafe. This gives the place a cheerful ambience and with an attitude.

A quick perusal through the extensive menu reveals that most of the dishes here would augur well with health conscious (all halal), and over 80 healthy beverages to quench your thirst. With names like Damn Shiok Belacan Rice, Bay Tahan Chicken Rice, Spinach Stuffed Fish with Cream of Horseradish & Grapefruit or Herb Basted Chicken with Pearl Barley & Turkey Ham, this is a place for fantastic food and drinks. It comes in generous portions too. The menu changes every few months. Diners can indulge in a variety of international favourites, from Mexican to Italian, Hungarian to Thais.

In fact, it simply offers good value for money. The daily Set Lunch for example, offers an appetizer, one main dish, a generous dessert followed by coffee or tea for just RM15/+. On Friday night, it serves Set Dinner for only RM18/+, while on Wednesday Ladies Nite and Saturday Gents Nite offer special discounts for ladies and gents respectively.
