  • HK - Fried Fish Skin

    Posted January 8th, 2008 at 4:22 pm

Well, this should try when you in HK.

Its a yummy and crispy food, not oily (even is less oily than you having TWISTIES snack)

May be fried fish skin is strange for some of you, but this is one of the typical HK food that based from Teochew food.

For your information, the fish meat normally will made as fish ball, while the skin may taken out and use some soda powder and fried with it,then after fried and put it into a dry mounted box to ensure its dry enough.

How much, its HKD5 or HKD 10++.(depends on the shop)

    Thanks for reading.
    Wayne.

  • Macao : 餐.蛋丁 (Luncheon Meat/Egg and Instant noodle)

    Posted December 29th, 2007 at 9:58 am

U know,I am the junk food master and I use to eat lots of instant noodle.

In HK or Macao, the famous brand is either "Doll 公仔"brand or "Nissin 出前一丁"brand.(kinda like Maggi Mee and Indo Mee in Malaysia)

And mostly you can find it for breakfast, 3.15pm teatime, and this is one of the luncheon/egg with Nissin noodle i like to eat, original flavor, the egg is half boil, with two piece of not so thick and thin luncheon pieces, very delicious. :-)

And this time I taste on hose street side hawker stall, with the affordable price MOP18, or RM8, come with a bottle of Coke.

    * without coke, only mee is MOP12 or RM5.2
