    Posted June 7th, 2008 at 4:34 pm

Well the laksa from Sarawak taste different from Penang Laksa for sure. The gravy is self made, and the laksa here is cooked with coconut milk, so best to take them in morning or before noon .There are many places to go for good laksa in Kuching
There will have prawns, bean sprout , celery, and chicken meat included.
    Places for good Laksa :

Expert Food Court – 4th Mile Jalan Penrissen

Foody Goody Cafe – Jalan Tabuan Laru next to Kuching Specialist Centre
Chong Choon Cafe – Jalan Abell, Padungan neaby to Holiday Inn ( 15 mins walk )
Bormill Cafe ( Ah Yew Laksa ) – Bormill Estate, Jalan Kereta Api

    HK - Fried Fish Skin
    Posted January 8th, 2008 at 4:22 pm

Well, this should try when you in HK.

Its a yummy and crispy food, not oily (even is less oily than you having TWISTIES snack)

May be fried fish skin is strange for some of you, but this is one of the typical HK food that based from Teochew food.

For your information, the fish meat normally will made as fish ball, while the skin may taken out and use some soda powder and fried with it,then after fried and put it into a dry mounted box to ensure its dry enough.

How much, its HKD5 or HKD 10++.(depends on the shop)

    Thanks for reading.
    Wayne.
